A few Christmas pictures

This Christmas we spent at home.  It was so fun and magical.  We had the sister missionaries over for our traditional Christmas Eve raviolis and then we did a little Christmas program.  It was fun having the sisters over and we enjoyed the sweet spirit they bring with them.  The kids also loved having someone else to perform and entertain.  They are so fun and silly.

Christmas morning was just our little family and then later in the day Adam's mom and brother and his son came over for Christmas dinner.  It was a great day.  We sure love Christmas and everything about it.  What a special time of year it is.  We feel so blessed to have a Savior that lived and died for us and who gives us hope and peace in this sometimes crazy world.

I realized after posting these, that we don't take nearly enough pictures.  This is all we have from Christmas.  I better get on that.

Family photos!

I have been dreading getting family pictures, so I was putting them off, but decided it had been long enough.  Trevor hadn't even had any official pictures.  I finally took responsibility, which I still keep expecting my mom to do.  But then I remember oh wait, I'm the mom of this family, it's up to me.  I wanted some beautiful professional looking photos, but I wanted them to be outside, so I asked a friend who takes awesome pictures if she'd give it a go.  I was still dreading the whole thing, what with finding matching outfits and possibly very difficult moody kids.  But luckily the pictures turned out fabulous (if I can brag a little) and the kids were awesome!  I am so happy we got to photograph our sweet little family

Can you believe this sweet little picture.  Oh I just want to squish him.

And this handsome guy thinks he's allowed to grow up.  I for one did not say that was okay.

This little miss is just as sweet and sassy as ever.  Boy does she have personality.

There are several more good ones that I'll have to post later, but I just had to share.  Oh we are lucky.

An awesome summer part 2

We had a great summer.  One of our highlights this summer was our special visitor.  Uncle Jeff came for a week.  It was a special time and the kids LOVED having their Uncle Jeff.  After an awesome week we camped in Northern California with Grandma and Grandpa, Aunt Cristy and Uncle David.  It was beautiful, hot, and mosquito and bee infested.  But we had a fabulous time.  We sure love to camp. And summer is just the best.  It was hard to say goodbye to summer and hello to fall, but alas it is time.

An awesome summer part 1

We have had an awesome summer.  The weather here has cooperated quite nicely.  It almost makes me forget that pretty soon it will be cloudy and rainy most days...almost.  It has been beautiful and we have taken full advantage.  Here is the first half of our summer...

The little lady turned 3.  She wanted a strawberry cake and chocolate milk.  We had a little tea party with the princess herself.  Love this little sassy lady!

Can't leave out an opportunity to show off this little cutie!

Our little Collin boy who isn't so little anymore turned 5!  He just won't stop growing.  He started Kindergarten this year (more pictures in a following post).  He is a great big brother (most of the time) and has informed us that he loves Trevor more than anyone else in the family.  We love our little big guy.

We spent as much time outside as possible. ha ha can't you just feel the love.

Our first camping trip with just our family.  Huge success.  It was a blast.  We camped right next to a little creek that the kids got to run through while we set up camp.  It was perfect.  I was nervous for it just to be our little family.  Usually we camp with family or friends, but it was awesome.  Our kids LOVE to camp.

Stay tuned for the rest of the summer.  It was an awesome one.  A little more craziness adding a baby, but so worth it.  It's always hard to say goodbye to summer.  Good thing it comes around every year.

Here's looking at you kid

Yes, we get to look at that sweet little face all day long.  Oh he is a cutie.  We love our little Trevor boy.  The only problem is time is going way to fast.

Don't you just want to kiss those sweet little cheeks.

The little lady turned 3

I can't believe our sweet and sassy little woman is 3!  She is our spunky and spirited little fire cracker.  There are times where she pushes me to my limits, but then gives me a hug, kiss, and a smile and I remember how blessed I am to have her.  She is my little buddy and I am so glad to have her for a daughter.  2 was extremely hard and trying, hopefully not a foreshadowing of teen years.  We're hoping 3 will be a little less dramatic, but still as fun.  She is just a ball of energy.  Collin and Marissa are such fabulous friends, usually.  Oh I love this little woman.

Our blue eyed boy (atleast for now)

Our sweet little Trevor boy is 4 months old.  Where does the time go?  You would think he got ignored by the lack of posting and pictures, but this boy is so loved.  The kids adore him and we have pictures galore, but finding the time with three children is the real problem.  They sure keep me busy.  But I just had to post some of this sweet little blue eyed boy.  He just melts my heart. Love him!

And of course had to post a picture of these two rag muffins.
