An awesome summer part 2

We had a great summer.  One of our highlights this summer was our special visitor.  Uncle Jeff came for a week.  It was a special time and the kids LOVED having their Uncle Jeff.  After an awesome week we camped in Northern California with Grandma and Grandpa, Aunt Cristy and Uncle David.  It was beautiful, hot, and mosquito and bee infested.  But we had a fabulous time.  We sure love to camp. And summer is just the best.  It was hard to say goodbye to summer and hello to fall, but alas it is time.

An awesome summer part 1

We have had an awesome summer.  The weather here has cooperated quite nicely.  It almost makes me forget that pretty soon it will be cloudy and rainy most days...almost.  It has been beautiful and we have taken full advantage.  Here is the first half of our summer...

The little lady turned 3.  She wanted a strawberry cake and chocolate milk.  We had a little tea party with the princess herself.  Love this little sassy lady!

Can't leave out an opportunity to show off this little cutie!

Our little Collin boy who isn't so little anymore turned 5!  He just won't stop growing.  He started Kindergarten this year (more pictures in a following post).  He is a great big brother (most of the time) and has informed us that he loves Trevor more than anyone else in the family.  We love our little big guy.

We spent as much time outside as possible. ha ha can't you just feel the love.

Our first camping trip with just our family.  Huge success.  It was a blast.  We camped right next to a little creek that the kids got to run through while we set up camp.  It was perfect.  I was nervous for it just to be our little family.  Usually we camp with family or friends, but it was awesome.  Our kids LOVE to camp.

Stay tuned for the rest of the summer.  It was an awesome one.  A little more craziness adding a baby, but so worth it.  It's always hard to say goodbye to summer.  Good thing it comes around every year.
